Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 June 2026
By using Hushling, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Hushling is
Hushling is an emotion regulation app for children, guided by a parent's cloned voice. It offers research-backed breathing and grounding exercises designed for young children.
- Hushling is a complementary tool for parents — not a medical device
- It is not a substitute for professional mental health support
- It does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical advice
Subscriptions and billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Paddle, our payment provider
- Paddle is the merchant of record — your receipt and billing queries go through Paddle
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings or Paddle customer portal
- Cancellation stops future charges; there is no refund for the current billing period
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice
Acceptable use
- One family per account — sharing accounts outside your household is not allowed
- For personal, non-commercial use only
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the service
- Do not use Hushling to harm, harass, or mislead others
Your voice data
- You own your voice. Your voice recording and cloned voice model belong to you
- By recording your voice, you grant Hushling a limited licence to clone and use it solely to deliver the service within your account
- We will never use your voice for advertising, training public models, or any purpose outside your account
- You can delete your voice data at any time from the parent dashboard
Limitation of liability
Hushling is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hushling Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
